"I always wanted to open my own production house, but because of my family responsibilities and my children, I had to give up that dream for some time. Now that my children have grown up and I have more freedom to focus on my aspirations, I decided it was finally time to pursue it," Janvi says.

The turning point came when she reconnected with her old friend Kaushik Thakkar, who has spent nearly two decades in the entertainment industry.

"I met my old friend Kaushik Thakkar, who has been in the industry for around 20 years. We discussed our ideas and eventually planned to start a production house together. That's how Shreenathji Media Works was born," she shares.

Directed by acclaimed Punjabi filmmaker Rakesh Mehta, the actor will be seen playing a distinct role in ‘Mehar’. Madhuri Dixit, one of Bollywood’s most celebrated actresses, reflected on her illustrious 39-year career, detailing how the portrayal of women in Indian cinema has undergone a remarkable transformation. Known for her grace, versatility, and strong screen presence, Madhuri emphasized how female-led narratives have gained prominence, giving actresses more dynamic and powerful roles.

“When I started my journey, the industry was vastly different. Women were often limited to specific roles, but today, we are seeing powerful female-driven stories that resonate globally. The shift has been gradual but profound,” said Madhuri, recalling her experiences working in an industry that has constantly evolved.

On the other hand, Guneet Monga, an Oscar-winning producer recognized for her bold storytelling and international impact, provided insight into the behind-the-scenes struggles and triumphs of women filmmakers. Mumbai: The much-anticipated devotional film Moti Sethani is gearing up for a nationwide release on February 26, 2025. Distributed by UFO Moviez India Limited, the film has been produced and directed by Rana Sanjay Tulsyan under the banner of Rasda Enterprises Private Limited, with Nimmi Tulsyan serving as the executive producer.

Aarushi Nishank started Himshrii Films from scratch and, in a short span, has successfully produced Life Hill Gayi, a commissioned show for a major studio like Hotstar. She is now collaborating with other leading platforms on multiple projects, emphasizing the importance of storytelling that resonates with the present times. According to her, whether it is writing or filmmaking, relevance is key.

"We all grew up listening to bedtime stories from our grandmothers, tales that charmed us, transported us into magical worlds, and taught us values. In today’s world, cinema has taken the role of a grandmother’s storytelling.
