Harsh Chaudhary & Tarushi Dobhal Crowned Mr & Miss Uttarakhand 2026

Dehradun: In a vibrant celebration of talent, confidence, and youth empowerment, Harsh Chaudhary and Tarushi Dobhal were crowned Mr Uttarakhand 2026 and Miss Uttarakhand 2026 respectively at the grand finale of the prestigious Mr & Miss Uttarakhand 2026 pageant. The event, which marked its 10th anniversary, was held with great enthusiasm at Hotel Regenta in Dehradun.

Presented by Maya Devi University and organised by Himalayan Buzz in association with Dharma Creation, the evening brought together participants and audiences from across Uttarakhand. The glittering finale recognised not only the overall winners but also outstanding performers in modelling and other specialised categories.

Vanshita Kandpal was honoured with the title of Miss Uttarakhand Model of the Year, while Lokpal Pokhriyal received the Mr Uttarakhand Model of the Year award. In the runners-up categories, Neha Mahara and Prakash Rana were declared the 1st Runners-up, whereas Shivam Bhatt and Lata Koranga earned the 2nd Runners-up positions.

The competition witnessed strong participation from every corner of the state. A total of 36 finalists were selected after rigorous auditions conducted in Dehradun and Haldwani. Throughout the preparation phase, contestants underwent professional grooming sessions and competed in multiple sub-contests that tested their talent, personality, confidence, and stage presence. Several special subtitles and awards were also presented during the grand finale.

The judging panel comprised respected personalities from different fields, including Kshitiz Doval, Founder of UNHU; Tushar Shahi, Mr Uttarakhand 2025; Rahul Gupta, Founder of Vastukar Associates; Seema Kashyap; Lavanya Ahuja and her team from The Frontrow Couture; restaurateur Aneesha Virmani; and Aniruddha Raithwan, Founder of AAR Hotels. Their collective expertise ensured a fair and insightful evaluation of the contestants.

Speaking at the event, Dr Tripti Juyal Semwal, Vice President of Maya Devi University, addressed the gathering and emphasised the institution’s commitment to nurturing young talent. She highlighted how platforms like Mr & Miss Uttarakhand play a crucial role in empowering the youth of the state by providing them with opportunities to shine and build self-confidence.

This milestone 10th edition of the pageant reinforced Himalayan Buzz’s decade-long dedication to discovering and promoting fresh talent while celebrating the rich cultural spirit of Uttarakhand. Over the years, the event has grown into one of the most respected youth platforms in the region, consistently encouraging participants to embrace their individuality and pursue their dreams with poise and determination.

The grand finale was not just a beauty and talent contest but a powerful platform that showcased the potential of Uttarakhand’s young generation. From graceful ramp walks and confident interactions to thoughtful expressions of personality, the contestants left a lasting impression on everyone present.
