Rashmi is a significant figure changing the cultural landscape of Chhattisgarh and beyond thanks to her inspirational journey, which is based in Indian classical arts, education, and creativity.
A Lifelong Journey from Chemistry to Creative Brilliance
Rashmi Swarnakar was born in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, a town rich in history. Her father and grandfather were both well-known singers, so she was exposed to Indian classical music at a young age. A talented student from Mount Carmel School, she graduated from Vinoba Bhave University with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemistry. She then went on to Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University in Raipur to obtain a M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry and an M.Ed.
She began her career as an assistant professor of chemistry, but health issues forced her to focus entirely on her first passion, which was art. She currently holds esteemed certifications from Pracheen Kala Kendra in Chandigarh, including Sangeet Bhaskar in music, Nritya Bhaskar in Kathak dance, and Chitra Bhaskar in fine arts.
