Surinder Films presents Robe Nirobe, a Rabindra Sangeet reimagined for our times, where every note carries the weight of longing, and every silence brims with meaning. Brought to life through the soulful voice and thoughtful arrangement of Samantak Sinha who has, over the years, carved a space for himself as one of the most expressive interpreters of Tagore’s songs since Ganer Opare, directed by legendary Rituporno Ghosh.
Directed by Paramita Banerjee, this isn’t just a music video. It’s a cinematic meditation on what it means to love and lose across the invisible borders drawn by belief systems. Rahul Dev Bose and Debadrita Basu, coming together on screen after three years, portray rival political leaders whose shared past lingers just beneath the surface of power and propaganda. Their chemistry unfolds not in dramatic declarations, but in glances and silences.
